Our story: A Leeds family business since 1992
Surekill Pest Control was started in Leeds by Kevin Moore, as founder in 1992. For over 30 years the business has dealt with rats, mice, wasps, bed bugs, birds and other pests for homes, landlords and businesses across Leeds and Yorkshire, with a 24-hour service, 365 days a year.
Kevin’s son, Farrer Moore, joined the business in 2021 and spent three years working alongside his father. In 2024 Farrer took over the running of Surekill, which now trades through Surekill Pest Control Services Limited (company no. 15895028). Kevin is now semi retired but is still on hand for advice.
It’s the same family, the same name, the same office at Cardigan Mills in Leeds and the same phone numbers. Customers who have used Surekill for years are dealing with the same business they always have.

Who you’ll deal with
When you call, you speak to someone who can actually help: a member of the Surekill team, not a call centre. Our technicians aren’t paid solely on commission, so they take the time to find where the problem is coming from and explain the treatment, rather than rushing to the next job. Unmarked vehicles are available on request if you’d rather your neighbours didn’t know.
Qualifications and memberships
Our technicians hold the RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management. Surekill is a member of the [British Pest Control Association (BPCA) and the National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA).

We’re based in Leeds and cover West Yorkshire, including Wakefield, Garforth and Rothwell, and North Yorkshire, including Harrogate, Wetherby and Ripon. We work for homeowners, landlords and letting agents, and commercial, industrial and food premises.
